This young athlete maintains considerable online following

The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known supporters as she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns multiple international courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events recently and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially with the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal fashion and living company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
